What is the active ingredient and how does it remove hair?
The active ingredient is Calcium Thioglycolate (CAS 814-71-1). It removes hair by breaking the disulfide bonds in keratin — the protein that forms the hair shaft — causing hair to weaken and dissolve at or just below the skin surface within the recommended contact time. No scraping or pulling is required.
What is the shelf life?
24 months from manufacture date when stored sealed at 15–25°C, away from direct sunlight. Calcium thioglycolate oxidises on air exposure; airtight jar closure is important. Manufacture date and expiry date appear on each batch COA.
Can I mix jar sizes in the same 20kg order?
Yes. Mixing 100g and 150g jars within a single Starter Batch is common for first-time buyers testing which size resonates best. Mention the preferred split when requesting a quote.
Can I customise the formulation?
We do not recommend adding ingredients to the base after manufacture. If you need a customised formulation — adjusted pH, added fragrance, or sensitive-skin variant — raise this at the quoting stage. Custom batch development is available.
What documentation ships with the cream base?
